The archaeological locality Ducové-Kostolec (Ducové is the local part of the Moravany nad Váhom municipality) is the archaeological and historical monument of primary importance. Kostolec is a spur dominantly situated above the Vá¾ska Valley. In the locality, there are the settlement from the older Stone Age, the fortification from the younger Bronze Age, the Great Moravian feudal courtyard from the middle of the 9th century with the residential and fortified constructions, and a rotunda near which graves with gold and silver jewellery were discovered.
In the locality, a reconstruction of the courtyard, which is partly presented on the stamp (stockaded reconstruction of the fortification with the entrance gate, remainders of the masonry , and the foundations of the Great Moravian rotunda), is indicated and completed with archaeological findings - the ornamental button from a grave near rotunda and the jewel found in the locality.
FDC: jewellery (earrings, necklace, ring) from the wealthy woman's grave (11th century).
Cancellation: reconstruction of the Great Moravian rotunda.
