The Permanent Commission for safety investigation is an independent body and has an important role in the safety investigation process.

It is of key importance in determining the causes of occurrences. The members of the Permanent Commission are obliged to familiarize themselves with the procedures and methodology for investigating aviation occurrences.

As in previous years, so even this year Aviation and Maritime Investigation Authority organized periodic training of members of the Permanent Commission.

The training took place in the period from 20 to 21 March 2019 at Nitra airport.
